We celebrated the grand opening of the Spaces of Opportunity Nature Explore Classroom on October 30th! This space features several areas designed specifically to help children focus on different skills and challenges, ranging from art to physics and everything in between. The grand opening event brought together community members and contributors to this project, to celebrate the opportunities and potential of the space.
Since the grand opening, we have had the opportunity to open the Nature Explore Classroom for children on several Saturdays during farmer’s market hours. Every week has been a new learning opportunity, as we watch kids test out the materials and discover new ways to use them!
Currently, the Nature Explore Classroom is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, from 10am to noon. Come join us and discover a new space to learn and grow!
